These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Sheba Health website and services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

  1. About Sheba Health

Sheba Health is a technology and coordination platform that connects users with independent, licensed healthcare providers and clinics for weight loss treatment. Sheba Health is not a medical provider and does not practice medicine, render clinical decisions, or employ healthcare providers.

All medical services are provided by independently owned and operated medical practices such as Lilac Health PLLC, or by licensed professionals practicing within the scope of their state’s laws.

  1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and reside in a U.S. state where our clinical partners are licensed to use Sheba Health. By using our platform, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are over 18
  • You reside in a U.S. state where care may legally be provided to you
  • You will provide accurate, truthful information
  1. Use of Services

You agree to use Sheba Health’s platform only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. You will not:

  • Misrepresent your identity or medical history
  • Interfere with our systems or security
  • Use bots, scrapers, or unauthorized third-party tools
  1. No Medical Advice

The content on the Sheba Health website (e.g., articles, blogs, or symptom-checkers) is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice.

All clinical care and medical decisions are provided solely by licensed providers and not by Sheba Health.

  1. Telehealth Services

Medical consultations may be provided via telehealth by licensed providers. You understand and agree that:

  • Telehealth may involve audio, video, and electronic communications
  • Providers may not be able to treat all conditions remotely
  • You may be referred to in-person care when appropriate
  1. Payment and Fees

You are responsible for all fees charged for consultations, medications, or other services. Some services may be eligible for insurance reimbursement, but Sheba Health does not guarantee coverage. All payments are processed via secure third-party vendors.

  1. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and login credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use.

  1. Intellectual Property

All content on Sheba Health (text, graphics, logos, software) is owned or licensed by Sheba Health and protected by copyright and other laws. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without written permission.

  1. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Sheba Health is not liable for:

  • Any medical advice or outcomes resulting from provider services
  • Interruptions or technical errors on the platform
  • Any unauthorized access or breach outside of our control

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHEBA HEALTH DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

  1. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.

  1. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on our website with a new effective date.
