After your evaluation, your clinician may recommend medication as part of your plan. Options depend on your health history, labs, and goals, and can include FDA-approved medications and, where appropriate, compounded medications prepared by a licensed pharmacy.

No. Sheba Health is 100% telehealth. Your initial consultation, all follow-ups, and prescription management happen by video or secure portal. You’ll visit a local LabCorp or Quest for bloodwork — that’s the only in-person step.
Provider visits are billable to most commercial insurance. Lab work is often covered with appropriate
diagnosis codes. Branded GLP-1 medications (Wegovy, Zepbound) are covered by approximately 40% of large employers — we’ll help you check and submit prior authorizations. Compounded medications are typically not covered, but HSA and FSA accounts can be used for all services.
Yes. Orforglipron — the first oral GLP-1 receptor agonist, approved April 2026 — is a daily pill with no injection required. Hormone therapy is also available in patch, gel, and cream formulations. Your provider will always discuss formulation preferences before prescribing.

Most new patients have a provider consultation within 48 hours of completing their intake. Lab orders are released the same day as your intake submission. From assessment to first prescription typically takes 5–7 business days.

For example, women on HRT often add the Longevity Biomarker Panel to track biological age, or a metabolic health protocol if they’re managing weight concerns alongside hormones. Your provider will help you identify where the greatest opportunity lies and sequence additions appropriately.
